Troy is the Director of Baker Advocates and brings a rare mix of strategy, data, and real world execution to property buying.
Before stepping into real estate, Troy built a successful career as a Digital Project Manager, leading multi million dollar enterprise software projects. That background shaped the way he approaches property today: structured decision making, clear processes, and results backed by data not guesswork.
Property has also been part of Troy’s life since his teenage years, helping his dad renovate homes and learning first hand what makes a good asset perform over time. He purchased his first property at just 20, and has been obsessed with the wealth building power of real estate ever since.
But the real turning point came when Troy was made redundant.
That moment forced a hard realisation: he didn’t want his family’s financial future sitting in someone else’s hands. He wanted control. He wanted certainty. And he wanted a long term plan that wasn’t dependent on job security or pay rises.
That decision is what ultimately led him deeper into property investing and later into building Baker Advocates.
